Episode 50 of Upon Further Review has arrived!
At long last (and we hope this lasts long!), we are proud to present Episode 50 of Upon Further Review! Since this is a special show for us, we thought it only appropriate to take a special approach to it–and since this is show fifty, what would be more appropriate than to review fifty things? Congratulations on reaching your 50th!
(We purposely didn’t mention our podcast in the audio clip we sent so it wouldn’t be seen as an advertisement. We just wanted to congratulate you.)
I thought this was the funniest episode ever – even if I did have to disagree with your review of Ronald Reagan and the Lord of the Rings Trivia Game:) But how can you go wrong when you rate red (, white,) and blue so high?
We are looking forward to at least another 50 shows!
Congrats on 50 shows! I feel privileged that I found this site and was able to listen to them all. :) Definitely a great source of entertainment and interesting trivia and experiences. Keep it up!

Thanks for the clarification about the transcripts. I do recall you saying that there’s little reason to hear the show if it’s all scripted out when you go to download. But the clarification makes sense to me.
I don’t really have a problem with LOTR, except, the only more boring than the series of books was the movies:). (But seriously, I was able to read further in the first book than I was able to watch in the first movie before I fell asleep and gave up.)

I really thought you were joking about 50 in 30 minutes, but I couldn’t have enjoyed more listening to you execute it flawlessly!

Only one little thing that got me, and that was the manager-tool review. The one I was talking about is actually manager-tools . com with an “s”. In this case, I think the “s” makes all the difference (terrible website name for them anyway. a hyphen and a plural… you’re just asking for trouble!). But I’d rather wait until episode 100 to hear the manager-tools review if that’s what it takes. So looking forward to 100 reviews in 30 minutes!!
Anyway, superb show. One of the most fun to listen to yet!! Congratulations, again, on breaking 50!! And thanks, again, for considering my suggestions (ps there are a few in the comments I just posted on 47-49… I’ll try to be good about emailing the suggestion parts to you just to make sure they get in the hopper).

Chinese New Year clarification–their year changes in mid-February….so your baby will be a pig like mine.
It’s actually supposed to be a really good pig year–year of the golden boar. All the Chinese were trying to have babies this year..
