On the baseball question there is no presence to speak of here in Australia. When I lived in Sydney there were a few baseball teams almost entirely populated by ex-pat Americans. Strangely enough there is a baseball field near my house but I've lived here for 6 years and have never seen a baseball game being played there. I have this vague idea that dead baseballers come out to play when we're all asleep. Of all the sports I consider to be American (gridiron, ice hockey, baseball) that I have gone to see when travelling in the US baseball is my favourite by a long shot. I found the other two stupefyingly boring but have always enjoyed the baseball games I went to. Hi guys
