Episode 24 of Upon Further Review!

Welcoming back guest reviewer Russ of Mep Report fame, we serve up a tasty buffet of reviews in Episode 24 of Upon Further Review! In honor of the season, we give thanks for our listeners and fans before getting into the meat of the episode, so to speak: first, we pay homage to the food/football/family fiesta known in America as Thanksgiving; second, we ask what is objective knowledge (and who decides?) with our review of Wikipedia; and finally, we ask what truly is lowfat as we review the cooking vidcast Feed Me Bubbe. As always, we’re thankful (of course) for your ideas, opinions and comments, and we ask that you continue to spread the word about the show! (As usual, podsafe intro music is provided by Sharif (“You’re My Girl”), outro by David Henderson (“We Gotta Go”).)

Episode 23 of Upon Further Review!

This week we willingly court controversy (so to speak) in Episode 23 of Upon Further Review!  Inspired by the recent election day festivities, in this episode we dip into the world of politics and policy:  first, we ask whether treatment or punishment work better as we look at the war on drugs (yep, the whole thing); second, we tackle the huge issue of the day as we examine the war in Iraq; and finally, we ask whether preaching to the choir is always a good thing in our review of the Wrong Of The Right podcast.  As always, we’re grateful for your ideas, suggestions and comments–please spread the word about the show, and thanks for your continued support of the show!  (As usual, podsafe intro music is provided by Sharif (“You’re My Girl”), outro by David Henderson (“We Gotta Go”).)

Episode 22 of Upon Further Review!

We’re back once again with reviews of sites, stores, and songs in Episode 22 of Upon Further Review!  In this show we wish everyone a happy American voting day, so to speak, before we get straight into the reviews:  first, we take a look at one more way to waste time on the Internet with our review of movie sharing giant YouTube; second, we look at another kind of giant as we discuss the finer points of buying in bulk at Costco; and finally, we try to get some questions answered (and get some great music in the process) in our podcast section as we review Ask Lyndon.   As always, we thank you for listening, spreading the word, and sending us your feedback, ideas, and opinions–please keep it up!  (As usual, podsafe intro music is provided by Sharif (“You’re My Girl”), outro by David Henderson (“We Gotta Go”).)

Episode 21 of Upon Further Review!

We’re in a bit of a spooky mood in Episode 21 of Upon Further Review! In this show we thank well-wishers and loyal listeners before heading into the meat of the show: first we tempt the fates with our review of Halloween (yes, the whole holiday–all of it!); second, we replay the David vs. Goliath showdown with our review of Shadow of the Colossus; and finally, we try not to get snowed under with our review of the vidcast Snowmen Hunters. As always, we are grateful for your continued support, encouragement and listening–and as always, we ask that you continue to spread the word so we can thank you even more! (Special thanks this week to the Great Pumpkin; as usual, podsafe intro music is provided by Sharif (“You’re My Girl”), outro by David Henderson (“We Gotta Go”).)
